Synopsis

As World War Two rages around them, the Losers embark on what is destined to be their final mission. Flashbacks detail the fateful events which would bring the Losers together for the first time and ultimately, the last time. When all is said and done, the Losers die together and will always be remembered as true heroes. While the issue is listed as a tie-in to "Crisis on Infinite Earths", this is really a post-Crisis story. The Losers were all killed off within the main Crisis title, but DC also wanted to give them a more "realistic" death within their normal WWII setting as opposed to their CoIE fighting and dying at the hands of the Anti-Monitor's shadow-demons.
